Ratnacs extended warranty plan covers your electronic appliance or gadget from malfunction or technical breakdown. We will get it repaired or provide refund if not found repairable taking care of all the costs for the repairs. | |
You can opt for an extended warranty from Ratnacs for your appliances and gadgets within 9 months after purchasing your device. | |
You can opt to protect your device for up to 3 additional years. While opting for Extended Warranty for your device, please keep in mind that the total term of the manufacturers' warranty and Extended Warranty does not exceed 4 years. | |
Ratnacs guarantee that your device will be repaired and returned to you within the promised time. If we are unable to repair the device within promised timelines, we will provide you a refund with 2 % depreciation monthly from the date of plan purchase if it is not found repairable. | |
Any brands and the entire televisions brand qualify for SLA of 30 working days. | |
Working days includes weekdays between Mondays to Friday. It excludes Saturday, Sunday and all national and state holidays. | |
The Extended Warranty Certificate is the confirmation from Ratnacs that your appliance or gadget is protected under the extended warranty program. It will also allow us to provide you quick and efficient service at the time of registering a a service request. | |
You'll receive an automated system email once you purchase a plan. The email will have your login credentials which can be used to sign-in to your Ratnacs account. | |
Update your device details and upload the invoice details in the plan activation form. Ensure that the buyer / customer name, and IMEI/Serial number on your device matches the one that is mentioned on the purchase invoice and / or the serial number displayed on the device image uploaded during plan activation. | |
Upon successful submission of the details, you will get your warranty certificate. Please archive this Certificate of Protection till the term of the Ratnacs EWSA. | |
Buy Extended Warranty along with your device and ensure that you are buying the right plan based on the price of your device. Also ensure that the invoice issued to you by your retailer has the IMEI / Serial Number that matches the one of the device. | |
Get your Warranty Certificate within 90-days of purchasing an extended warranty by activating the plan. Requests for devices activated post 90-days from purchase are liable to be inspected or rejected. The EWSA agreements are non-refundable and non-transferrable and caters only to devices tagged along with the specified serial number mentioned during plan activation or Certificate Of Protection (COP). | |
This Extended Warranty Service Agreement does not cover any kind of damages physical, accidental or liquid damages. | |
The maximum amount payable by us under this Extended Warranty Service Agreement will be the original Purchase Price of your product. | |
In the event that We provide a refund if the device is non repairable, the Extended Warranty Service Agreement will be considered as fulfilled and We will have no further obligations, notwithstanding any outstanding term of the Service Agreement. | |
This Extended Warranty Service Agreement purchased from the Ratnacs website can be cancelled within 30 days of purchase without any reason whatsoever. Upon cancellation of the EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE AGREEMENT no charge will be deducted from the amount paid towards the EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE AGREEMENT and the entire amount shall be refunded. No cancellations can be made by the Customer after 30 days from the Date of Purchase of Extended Warranty Service Agreement. | |
If the Customer makes a request, knowing it to be false and/or fraudulent as regards the value or the amount of work or otherwise, this Service Agreement is deemed to be cancelled from inception without return of money paid and the customer must return all request payments received till such cancellation, including any shipping charges or other ancillary charges incurred by the Company. Cancelling or refund a plans with special discounted premium, is solely on Ratnacs discretion. | |

This service agreement is complete and agreement between Ratnacs Warranty & Services and Customer. The retailer is only authorized dealer of our products and shall not be responsible for any of your grievance with regards to the services to be performed by us under this Terms of Service. Any statements or representations made by resellers, ASPs or others that are inconsistent with this Agreement shall not be binding upon Ratnacs Warranty & Services. | |
We shall not be liable for delay or failure in furnishing services including suspension of Service Assurance in the event of strike, government action, act of God, disruption in global supply chains or any other cause beyond our control. | |
Ratnacs will not be liable for indirect damage caused due to improper functioning of the product, including but not limited to lost profits or savings, business interruption, loss of data, lost revenue, loss of use, inconvenience, mental or physical stress or any other commercial or economic loss of any kind, or special, incidental, or consequential damages. | |
The device for which Extended Warranty has been purchased should not have any other Care Pack / Insurance or Insurance linked plan. Extended Marketing brochures are meant purely for educating customers and do not have any commercial value. | |
Any disputes arising in connection with this service shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts of Gujarat shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising hereunder. | |

ACCIDENTAL, PHYSICAL & LIQUID DAMAGE PLAN | |

The plans needs to be activated within 5-days of the purchasing the accidental, physical and liquid damage protection plan. Failing to activate the plan leads plan failure without the possibility of cancellation and / or refund | |
You will be covered under the above-mentioned protection plan policy for a sum insured of up to the maximum of the equipment purchase value for accidental damage (including liquid damage) but excluding theft and burglary of your equipment during the policy period. Please refer to the exclusions as mentioned in the Insurance Policy Terms and Conditions enclosed herewith. Please note that in case of Damage (partial loss) to the covered equipment under the policy, you will be paid the repair cost of your equipment after adjustment of compulsory deductible specified in the terms. | |
In the event of Total Loss of the covered equipment under the policy you will be paid the invoice value of the equipment less depreciation based on the age of your equipment on the date of accidental damage (including liquid damage), less compulsory deductible at the rates as specified below but limited nevertheless to the invoice value at the time of purchase. | |
You must intimate the Accidental Damage claim to Ratnacs by telephone/e-mail, immediately after you have discovered the loss but not later than forty-eight (48) hours of discovering the accidental damage loss/incident. Ratnacs cannot be held responsible for declining the service request if failing to report the damage/incident within the specified time limit. | |
Service requests need to be raised after 7-days of plan activation. Service requests raised within 7-days of plan activation will be rejected. | |

Once the damage protection plan is activated, thereafter if your device incident during the plan period, Ratnacs will pay any amount subject to conditions 1 and 2 detailed below: | |
Condition 1: Depreciation will be applicable for total damage claims which will be calculated as
a percentage as defined below upon the invoice value. For Partial Damage claims depreciation
is not applicable.

Use of the insured device for commercial activity by giving the insured device to other company on hire, rental, loan, or the device ownership us transferred to the third party. | |
Device unboxing, or the device activation date is prior to the device invoice date, in such scenarios, the plan stands void. | |
The damage protection plans purchased from the Ratnacs website can be cancelled within 5 days of purchase. No cancellations can be made by the customer after 5 days from the date of purchase of damage protection plan. | |
This Extended Warranty Service Agreement purchased from the Ratnacs website can be cancelled within 30 days of purchase without any reason whatsoever. Upon cancellation of the EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE AGREEMENT with a cancellation charge of 10% will be deducted from the amount paid towards the EXTENDED WARRANTY SERVICE AGREEMENT. No cancellations can be made by the Customer after 30 days from the Date of Purchase of Extended Warranty Service Agreement. | |

The Buyback Guarantee Policy is non-transferrable. | |
On exercising the Buyback Guarantee, the Customer shall receive the Buyback Guarantee Value on the purchase of a New Phone sold between 0 - 12 months from the date of purchase Phone. The Customer shall not be entitled to avail the Buyback Guarantee post the time period set forth above. | |
The Buyback Guarantee Policy is applicable on selected Brands &models only. | |
The price of the New Device purchase by the customer will be at all times, be higher than the Buyback Guarantee Value. Further, the Customer shall not be entitled to receive cash or any other form of compensation in lieu of the Buyback Guarantee Value. | |
The original box, charger and accessories of the Original Device would need to be returned in good working condition, along with the Original Phone, while exercising the Buyback Guarantee. The original box should not any tear or dents, and the original charger and accessories should be in working condition and without any body damages or missing parts. In case the customer fails to provide original box, charger and accessories for the Original phone under the conditions specified above, the Buy Back Guarantee Value shall be reduced by Rs.999 or above based on the brand. | |
While exercising the Buyback Guarantee, a Ratnacs Warranty & Services executive shall conduct the following checks on the Original Phone: | |
The operating system of the Original Phone shall not be rooted or modified. | |
The phone switches on and should be in switch on mode without connecting to charger. | |
The IMEI of the old device matches with the original Invoice. | |
Device screen and the body of the Original Device is not in damaged or broken condition and the Original Device is in working condition. | |
Original box, charger, headphones, Remotes and Other accessories are provided in good working condition. | |
Screen lock should not be active (all forms of screen lock viz; pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, face recognition, smart Lock, etc. needs to be de--activated). | |
An online quality check may be conducted and no test shall be skipped | |
If the Original Phone satisfies all the quality checks stated above, only then will the Customer be eligible to avail the Buyback Guarantee. If any or all of the quality checks stated above are not satisfied, there may be a deduction to the discount value. The quality check shall be to the satisfaction of the Ratnacs executive and his decision shall be final in this regard. The Ratnacs executives, may, at their sole discretion perform additional checks to assess the condition of the device at the time of exercise of the Buyback Guarantee. Company decision will be final. | |
The Customer shall not have any claim/ownership over the old Phone and the accessories after the billing is complete. | |
The Buyback Guarantee can be exercised only on the purchase of the New Device with in the time frame as mentioned above. | |
Further, at the time of exercise of the Buyback Guarantee we suggest the Customer should go through and read the detailed terms and conditions as an acceptance of these terms and conditions for the Buyback Guarantee to be exercised. | |
The Buyback Guarantee is specific to the Customer who purchased the Original Device and the Buyback Guarantee will be valid only on the purchase of the New Device from authorized sales partner of brand within the 7-days from the purchase of new Device. | |
All taxes or liabilities payable to any regulatory authority shall be borne by the Customer. | |
